Strathalbyn has many antique shops concentrated in the High Street area. The Strathalbyn Antique Fair will be held on the weekend of 19 & 20 August. This is it's 27th year and attracts dealers and visitors from all over Australia.
Strathalbyn is a horse lovers paradise, with an attractive racecourse, polo grounds and trotting track. Riding schools also offer lessons to visitors and residents, and there are several riding clubs catering for all age groups.
